Monday Motivation
Your Monday Motivation: A Value I Consider The Basis of a Good Life.
Different things work for different people. Different strategies and actions also work in different ways. Nonetheless, there are principles that have proven to be timeless and universal. I will be sharing one such principle.
Before I go into this value, let me digress a bit towards a notion that has stayed in my mind all weekend regarding the connection between our thoughts and our experiences. Our thoughts and our words fuel our actions and our actions fuel our habits. Our habits become our character, and the sum total of our experience. This is why our thoughts need to be positive for us to manifest the same in our lives.
Now above is by the way.
The value that I want to share with you today is that of GIVING. You have to be willing to give more into life than you are taking from it. This is one of the very solid bases for a good life. And life in return gives you more than you desire or deserve. When I remember the likes of the late Dr. Ahmad Muhammad (an influential cleric and scholar) and how history (at least for now) is being kind to him, I also remember how much he was willing to give into life through different forms of sacrifices and how that became the root of his influence and good mention even after he is late.
From leaders to wealthy people and ordinary individuals, giving is a principle that transcends boundaries and resonates with people from all walks of life. It is the essence of a life well-lived, a cornerstone of lasting impact, and a beacon of light and pure joy. We get a testament to the enduring power of this value through the people we see dedicated to sharing their wealth; to others being generous with their knowledge and experience; and to others even giving out their whole time and energy to care for other humans, animals, or plants.
Here is to a great week folks! Remember that the true measure of a good life lies not in what you accumulate, but in what you contribute through selfless giving. Embrace the spirit of giving, and watch as it transforms not only your own journey but also the lives of those you touch. In giving, we also receive multifolds, both in terms of joy, and that which we give.
Ahmad
